A Little About Me
Hello there! I'm Kyle Adamson, but feel free to call me Kyle Wayne or KW—like my family does. Ever since my grandfather handed me the family camcorder back in the 1990s, I've been captivated by the world of filmmaking. That clunky old Sony became my trusted companion at every birthday party, holiday gathering, and little-league game. "You go ahead and film for a while, kiddo! Trust your eye," he'd say, passing the mantle to me like a knighthood, marking my coming of age.
At the tender age of seven, I got my first taste for the magic of filmmaking when my stepdad introduced me to stop-motion animation. Watching those little toys come to life on screen was mesmerizing. The secret? Record. Stop. Move the character. Record. Stop. Repeat. "Don’t forget to keep the camera completely still!" he'd remind me. And so, armed with LEGO bricks, puppets, and bearded dragons, I delved into creating my own quirky animations and Christian-Rock music videos. In other words, things got weird.
Fast forward twenty-five years, and I'm still immersed in the world of video production, as the primary focus of my career as a creative professional. While I occasionally yearn for those whimsical personal projects, I've been fortunate to embark on a diverse array of endeavors, taking me from San Francisco and Los Angeles to as far as Belgium and Zambia. From historical documentaries and social media campaigns to transformational training series, YouTube channels, real estate tours, and online educational courses, I've had the privilege of crafting stories in a variety of forms and settings. And yes, there have been a few wedding gigs thrown in – but strictly for friends.
Despite the occasional grind of long hours spent in the editing room, the magic of filmmaking has never faded for me. Whether it's the spark of a new idea or the satisfaction of seeing a shared vision come to life through collaboration, the thrill is unparalleled.
